Here’s how you can request to download your Whatsapp information
- Open Whatsapp
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Account
- Tap on Request account info
- Tap Request report
A ‘request sent’ message will pop up on the screen. Though Whatsapp asks its user to wait for 3-4 days for the report to be received, however, the users usually get the report within an hour or so. One thing to account that, while the report request status is pending specific account actions would cancel your request like deleting your account, re-registering your account or changing your number.
