Uber has added a new feature to its app called panic button for its US passengers. The uber panic button feature will provide the rider quick access to 911 if the driver does anything wrong. Uber safety has always been questionable when it comes to customer’s safety. Several Uber drivers faced allegations of sex crimes for many years.

Uber declared plans to launch the uber panic button feature in the US last month. The new uber safety feature will enable the customers to share their location, tracked by the app with emergency services. In most of the US cities including Charleston, Denver, Naples, Tri-cities, Louisville, Denver and Nashville, the new service would transmit location and vehicle details by itself. The details will include the color, model, year and license plate number of the car which will go directly to the responder.
